I’ve been growing my product-marketing skills while creating the marketing department from scratch at Hasso Plattner Foundation Innovations (Navigating.art), an organization that builds software for managing and publishing art collections.

A few highlights:

  • Deepened our client relationships while widening our reach by instigating a system of co-marketing and partner-marketing campaigns.
  • Increased SEO strength by more than 86% and expanded our audience by creating and implementing a content marketing strategy across all customer channels.
  • Developed effective product positioning, messaging, and pricing when the company changed its primary offering.
  • Doubled our contacts by actualizing an event program on a limited budget.
2021-2022: Freelance Technical Writer to Head of Technical Content, Quix Analytics (Fully Remote)

I worked as the head of technical content at Quix Analytics, where I developed our technical content strategy, supported our developer relations team to create conference talks and tutorials, and edited everything we published that a developer might read — including the docs.

Where my focus paid off:

  • Grew brand awareness by evolving a technical content strategy across digital and non-digital channels, including the website, conference talks, events, white papers, and developer documentation.
  • Built brand trust by guiding developers to give conference talks, make video tutorials, engage on social channels, and present demo projects.
  • Brought our users to the center of our content strategy by managing and editing developer documentation as part of our content strategy.
2019-2021: Technical Writer to Managing Blog Editor, Contentful (Berlin, DE)

I was responsible for creating millions of dollars in lead generation per quarter through the Contentful blog. I planned, edited and evaluated everything we published while maintaining the brand tone of voice guide and the guide to friendly and inclusive language. I’m lucky to have worked with a great team of writers and ensured our readers felt inspired and educated while our brand remained consistent. We presented our internal and external contributors as the experts they are.

The key points:

  • Responsible for millions in lead generation per quarter by planning, editing, and evaluating everything published, ensuring created content with impact.
  • Consistently increased readership on the blog by skilfully managing a team of freelance writers and engineers to bring value to our readers.
  • Developed an engineering speaking program and taught developers how to share their ideas effectively via talks, blog posts, and social channels.
